Nutriad to sponsor, present at ABC Challenge Asia

Sponsor Nutriad will be presenting in the upcoming ABC (Antibiotic Resistance, Biosecurity & Consumers Challenge Asia) on October 17, 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The conference is centred around safe and high quality poultry meat for Asian customers, complying with the latest rules and regulations. Recognised international experts will provide insight into most recent developments on the matter.

Dr. Tim Goossens, Nutriad's business development manager of digestive performance, will be presenting on ENHANCING THE BIOSECURITY OF THE YOUNG CHICK'S GUT. His presentation will focus on non-antibiotic solutions available for poultry production.

Erik Visser, CEO, Nutriad highlights, "Whether one believes that agricultural use of antibiotics in livestock production has fostered an environment that spawns antibiotic-resistant super bugs or that excessive prescribing of antibiotics in human medicine has dealt us the same fate, our industry must take steps to mitigate the potential of a looming healthcare crisis. Our Gold Sponsorship of the ABC event further confirms Nutriad's commitment to the industry."

Nutriad supports producers around the world towards achieving a responsible use of antibiotics. In the Asian market its line of DIGESTIVE PERFORMANCE products such as SANACORE® EN, ADIMIX®PRECISION, ADIMIX®EASY and APEX 5 are available, that allows producers to create a diet that makes responsible use of antibiotics. Furthermore, the company's practical approach to MYCOTOXIN RISK MANAGEMENT (TOXY-NIL®; TOXY-NIL®PLUS & UNIKE®) supports producers in finding alternatives for AGPs.

Adds Visser, "We see a growing interest in Asian markets to learn more about alternatives for AGPs. Not only driven by government regulations and pressure from consumer groups, but also following a genuine interest to introduce novel solutions into the market."
